Buck Lodge

Epworth Forest Conference Center

Stan Buck (ft. wayne sonrise pic)Officially Named

Buck Lodge, the Waterfront Lodge 3 Project, will be a duplicate of Waterfront Lodges 1 and 2 (Duecker and Fenstermacher Lodges). This lodge will add additional, improved facilities that will provide adequate lodging for students while at camp and allow us to take another building from the 1920’s offline.

As a teenager, Stan Buck first came to know Christ and pursued his calling for ministry while at Epworth Forest. Stan continued on to lead a legacy of life changing ministry at Epworth Forest as an adult as he mentored and encouraged hundreds of young leaders each summer. He shared, “For me Epworth has been holy ground.” Stan impacted thousands of lives for the Kingdom, many while at Epworth Forest. Please join us to continue his vision of rebuilding Epworth Forest to reach the next generation for Jesus Christ. Many of the current facilities at Epworth were built in the 1920s and are no longer functional housing for our youth. Stan had a vision to see “another generation of people experience God’s grace” at Epworth and therefore joined a team of leaders to create a vision for rebuilding Epworth Forest Conference Center. His efforts resulted in the first two waterfront lodges being built, and his family and friends have chosen to help carry on this vision by building the third lodge in honor of his ministry legacy.

Fundraising Efforts

The financial goal for a waterfront lodge is $850,000.
