         The directing team of Alex and Anna Conklin and Pastor Jeanie Winters come with years of directing experience at camp. The Conklin’s both were counselors and summer staff at Indicoso. Pastor Winters has several years experience as a special education teacher. This directing team loves to share the love of Jesus with every camper that attends this week and is dedicated to making this week a wonderful camp experience.

Camp Indicoso’s Impact Camps provide a classic camp experience, featuring action packed adventures including swimming, a dueling giant swing and zip lines, and high ropes. Most importantly, there is a deep focus on Christ through a spiritual program including small groups, worship, and opportunities to ask the tough questions about God in a safe place.

Clear Gospel Message

Here at Camp Indicoso, we teach and explore the gospel with students through worship, stories, small group discussions, and feature activities. Each week has a different speaker and spiritual director to lead the students to a real and intimate relationship with our Savior.

Camp Worship

Praise can be expressed in many different ways, therefore, we like to help campers become inspired by the Holy Spirit’s movement during different worship times throughout the week. The main worship sessions each day take place in the Tabernacle where we are able to have a high energy, media-rich, outdoor-setting experience that draws us each to our Creator.

Outcomes

• Small group times, will focus on interpersonal and social skill development this year. The goal is to help amplify the students’ capacity to connect more deeply in their home communities.  
• Students will focus in on discovering how to spend time alone with God and grow through their own digging into scripture, listening through prayer, and in seeking Him first.
• As always, exciting adventures, friendships, worship times, and activities will make this a memorable week of their life for years to come.

     This directing team wants the experience of camp to be one that these campers never forget. One that is not only a time to make lifelong friendships, but also a time to focus on how much God loves them and wants a relationship with each one of them.
