Camp Rivervale
Located just ten minutes outside Mitchell, IN, Camp Rivervale is close to a fun blend of recreational and historical activities. Spend a morning at Spring Mill State Park, where you can hike, explore caves, and visit historic gristmills. Embark on a boat tour of the mysterious caves at Bluespring Caverns Park. Then cap your day with local cuisine at one of the eateries downtown.

Explore the charming town of Nashville, IN, just a ten-minute drive away. There are tons of things to do in Brown County. Discover unique shops and local art galleries, or take in the stunning vistas at Brown County State Park. Check out the local restaurants or stop by Big Woods Brewery for artisan pizza and craft beer. Then, round off your trip with a sweet treat at the Nashville Fudge Kitchen. Art and architecture more your style? Columbus, IN is home to modern styles of both and just 10 minutes from Moneto.

Experience the vibrant culture and activities of Bloomington, IN (just a 20-minute drive). There are plenty of things to do for everyone. Venture downtown for an eclectic range of dining options and independent boutiques. Or, enjoy the beautiful scenery of Monroe Lake and the cascading waterfalls at McCormick’s Creek State Park.

Are the camp dining rooms open?
Our camp dining rooms are ready to serve meals if we have 20 or more total bookings. There are also many restaurants just a short drive away.
What camp activities are available?
We’ll have outdoor games like cornhole, gaga ball, 9-square-in-the-air, basketball and volleyball courts available, and space for campfires at night (firewood provided). Please inquire and book in advance to experience activities like zip lines and climbing walls.
Are there kitchens for cooking our own meals?
Many of the lodging options are connected to kitchens, which are shared by all guests in that building (B&B style). To ensure your space includes a nearby kitchen, please mention your preferences in your reservation request.
What are the eclipse viewing locations like?
Each campsite has a wide open outdoor space perfect for viewing the solar eclipse. Please bring your own camping chairs, blankets, and anything else you need to be comfortable. Don’t forget to bring eclipse glasses or solar viewers to protect your eyes!
What do we need to bring?
In addition to your personal items, you’ll want to pack towels, bedding, a pillow, and flip-flops for the shower. You’ll also want to bring your own outdoor chairs or blankets to be comfortable while viewing the solar eclipse. Don’t forget to bring eclipse glasses or solar viewers to protect your eyes!
Is alcohol allowed onsite? What about cigarettes?
No, alcohol and cigarettes are not allowed at our camps and conference centers. Some of our camp sites are located near breweries, wineries, or distilleries if you want to enjoy a drink during your stay.
How much does lodging cost?
The cost varies depending on your group size, location, and the type of lodging you choose. Please contact us, and we’ll help find a spot that works for you.
